This piece is pure hairstylist alchemy. Just as I used to mix dyes to create the perfect, shimmering shade that catches the light, here I blended electric blues and lime greens to create an iris that feels alive and glowing. Yet, beneath the colour, there is the structure of the toolmaker—the perfect circle of the pupil, the mechanics of sight that allow us to take in the world. It is a hypnotic reminder to look closer and see the vibrancy in everything around us.
