The pieces in this collection are about the work people do when no one is watching — the discipline of the gymnast, the focus of the fighter, the quiet effort of someone who has decided to keep going.
I drew on my background as a tradesman and an artist to make these. The hand that held a die to tolerance is the same hand that draws a figure at three in the morning. These prints are for rooms where effort lives.
