About Me
The Artist Behind the Line
My name is Paschar. I was born in Hong Kong in 1979. At 18 I left home and built my own path independently — and at 22, I made the decision to relocate to Melbourne, Australia, starting fresh in a new country with nothing but determination and a willingness to work hard.
I trained as a Tool & Die Maker, where I learned to see the world in microns — where a fraction of a millimeter meant the difference between perfection and failure. Precision wasn't a preference. It was a requirement.
Later I spent over two decades as a Hairstylist, learning to trust my hands and find beauty in flow, texture, and organic movement. Two trades. Two disciplines. Both demanding mastery. Both built on the belief that craft, done properly, is a form of art.
During the COVID lockdowns, years of built-up creative energy finally found its outlet. I picked up an iPad Pro and began developing a digital illustration style rooted in cross-hatching — intricate, deliberate line work that builds texture, depth, and shadow from nothing but repeated strokes and absolute patience.
Every piece takes hours. Every line is placed with purpose. No two pieces are alike.Paschar.art exists to bring that precision, calm, and positive energy into your home — art that rewards the eye the longer you look at it. Whether it is a landscape that stills a room, a portrait that commands a wall, or an animal study that makes you stop and look twice — every piece carries the same intention.
Made for you. Made to last.
