All Artworks

I came to drawing through two trades that had nothing to do with art and everything to do with the hand.

A Tool & Die Maker works to fractions of a millimetre, where close enough is the same as wrong. A hairstylist reads a face and cuts to it, section by section, with no undo. Cross-hatch engraving asks for both — the tolerance of the first, the judgement of the second. Thousands of fine lines, one at a time, until a form rises out of them.

Everything here is available as a fine art paper print, a wood print, or a framed print — made to order, shipped from Melbourne, Australia.
