"The Leap of Grace" captures the split second where effort transforms into weightlessness. To me, ballet is the ultimate combination of my two past lives. It requires the structural precision of a toolmaker to defy gravity, yet it must be delivered with the effortless flow of a stylist.

In this piece, I wanted to freeze that perfect moment of suspension. The figure is rendered in realistic detail to show the strength of the dancer, while the explosion of yellow and coral watercolour in the background represents the "fire" and passion that drives her. It is a reminder that true freedom comes from discipline—a lesson I hope to pass on to my daughters.
