Eternal Flow — Mono — Framed
A Portrait of Rhythm and Connection
"The Eternal Flow" is piece No. 61. If my other hand pieces are about "holding" or "reaching," this one is about dancing.
During my 20 years in the salon, I learned that nothing in nature is truly straight. Hair, water, light—they all move in curves. I spent decades studying how to shape that movement with my hands. This piece captures that memory: two hands moving around each other, not touching, but flowing in perfect sync.
I used the rigid "bank note" engraving style to create something that looks liquid. By curving thousands of tiny cross-hatched lines, I tricked the eye into seeing soft, rolling waves of skin. It is a static image that feels like it is constantly changing shape.
(The Engraver’s Edition)
The Classic Edition (Studio White): This version is elegant and sculptural. Against the stark white background, the hands look like polished marble or twisted steel. It focuses entirely on the form and the intricate, directional shading that gives the hands their volume.
