March Together — White — Wood
A Tribute to Loyalty and Shared Direction
"The March Together" captures the incredible spirit of community. Penguins are nature’s ultimate team players—they survive the harshest winters not by standing alone, but by leaning on each other. As a father, this image speaks to me about the importance of family and moving forward in the same direction, no matter how cold the wind blows.
From a technical perspective, this piece allowed me to use my hairstylist background to explore a different kind of texture. Instead of fur, I focused on the sleek, waterproof density of the feathers, using fluid strokes to create a sense of movement and "waddle." The splashes of blue watercolour represent the chaotic energy of the ocean, contrasted against the disciplined formation of the group—a balance of chaos and order that appeals to my toolmaker’s eye.
Wood Print: An organic, textured alternative for a modern industrial feel.
Depth Beyond the Line The thousands of strokes in my digital crosshatching find a perfect partner in the natural texture of birch wood. Our wood prints offer a tactile, rustic experience that paper cannot replicate. By revealing the wood grain through the highlights of the artwork, each piece gains an extra layer of warmth and depth.
FSC-Certified: Sustainably sourced wood for a conscious home.
Thickness Options: Select 10mm for a subtle profile or 20mm for a substantial gallery presence.
Uniquely Yours: The natural variation in the wood grain makes your specific print a unique original.
