"The Serene Ascent" is a reminder to look up. Life often feels like a fog—busy, chaotic, and clouded. But if you climb high enough, the sun is always shining. This piece captures that moment of breaking through the cloud layer into the clear, quiet air above.

This artwork is a study in layering. Drawing on my background as a hairstylist, I approached the sky like a complex colour correction—blending bands of indigo, soft coral, and pale gold to create a seamless transition from day to night. Yet, the composition is grounded by my toolmaker’s love for structure—the horizontal lines of the clouds and the distant mountain peaks create a stable, calming geometry that anchors the room.
