"The Suspended Strength" is a celebration of the human body as a perfect machine. Coming from a background in tool and die making, I have always been fascinated by leverage and center of gravity. To hold this pose requires an understanding of physics—finding that single, microscopic point of balance where weight becomes weightlessness.
I contrasted this rigid physical discipline with the freedom of my styling background. The muscle definition is rendered with realistic precision, showing the tension and effort, while the abstract splashes of coral and teal watercolour represent the energy and flow of the movement. It is a visual reminder that true strength is not just about power; it is about control.
